FCCLA hosted its first-ever "Alumni Extravaganza" on December 22, 2009, featuring some of IMS's former basketball players in a series of basketball games. Chris Nachtigall arranged the teams according to the year of graduation. It turned out to be a fantastic night of fun and entertainment as former teammates reunited on the court and the excitement of competition pumped through their veins. The many positive comments from the players and spectators
have insured that this community event will continue next year.FCCLA sold concession stand items, including its famous strawberry smoothies. The fundraiser helped raise money for FCCLA leadership conferences and community events. Sales from face painting and suckers were donated to the Children's Miracle Network, FCCLA's national charity for 2009-10.
